It has been said that information is power and that a picture is worth a thousand words. RIMS.Vision incorporates both of these. Imagine being able to view warehouse information in a graphic format. That’s what RIMS.Vision allows you to do. The warehouse is one of the most critical elements of the Enterprise; its information needs to be accessible, real time. If you provide a graphic illustration of your warehouse, we can import that graphic into RIMS.Vision.
The graphic should be a blueprint of the warehouse provided on paper, a JPEG file, a GIFF file, or via any other electronic format. Once the graphic is part of RIMS.Vision you can run our pre-established RIMS.Vision queries to access RIMS, and then see the results displayed instantly on your warehouse graphic.
For example, you may wish to see where in your warehouse there are pending pick tasks or where a specific item is currently stored. The graphic visibility that RIMS.Vision provides can help you with your task forecasting or manpower requirements for that day. With its color-coded results you can immediately see and react to any bottle-necks in your warehouse. |
