RIMS (Robocom’s Inventory Management System) is a highly flexible, cost-effective, off-the-shelf warehouse management system (WMS) that integrates with e-commerce/e-business front ends and provides visibility into your warehouse and overall supply chain.
RIMS operates in an open system environment and interfaces with an organization’s existing information systems infrastructure. RIMS is designed to maximize productivity and streamline warehouse operations. RIMS® offers an easy and effective method of monitoring the flow of material in and out of a warehouse, as well as tracking current stock.
RIMS is a user-friendly, menu-driven application designed to satisfy the requirements of virtually any warehouse operation: from a simple paper-driven VDT (video display terminal) system, to a paperless RDT (radio data terminal) system. RIMS optionally also integrates with external material handling devices (carousels, conveyors, etc.), any of which might use barcode scanning for verification and tracking. |
