ICON-DCP quickly recognizes crucial bottlenecks and inefficient uses of capacity.
Contrary to previous tradition, suppliers are now actively involved in this process. The exception management module notes unusual circumstances instantly and alerts the right people automatically.
The manufacturer enters current demands in ICON-DCP. These demands may be coded as item numbers or be provided as aggregates (such as platforms, aggregates, special equipment). The supplier enters currently available capacities and defines the link between the manufacturer’s demands and the consumption of resources, thus mapping demand and capacity.
DCP supports and supplements existing ERP systems for middle and long-term decision-making. While other DCP applications concentrate chiefly on recognizing capacity problems early, ICON’s DCP solution also supports the collaborative process to eliminate those problems.
