FAST offers the ability to keep a complete history of all vehicle repairs and other work performed for each vehicle. Regularly performed services are first set up and assigned to vehicles, and then FAST responds accordingly by flagging in color to alert whenever services are near due, due, or overdue as required. Scheduled services may be tracked in terms of time (days or months) or meter (miles/km or hours), or both. Other vehicle-related events, such as license renewals, DMV sticker and warranty expirations, or other notices can be entered into the system for reminder at the proper time. For any upcoming event, a service request can be printed.
A fuel-usage log can be utilized to produce fuel economy reports. Other reports can be used to search for work history and other data that meets certain criteria or to summarize costs. With FAST, there is virtually no limit to the amounts of information that can be kept nor the numbers of services that can be tracked for each vehicle. Also included are additional databases for parts, vendors, and personnel.
