Features
Unit
A unit is a uniquely identified asset that you want to manage.
The general characteristic of a unit is an item that you
want to record usage and repair history. In addition, a
unit may have a preventive maintenance schedule. While the
historical focus of fleet management is on vehicles, a unit
may include nontraditional items such as lawn mowers and
leaf blowers.
Preventive Maintenance and Repair History
Automated Preventive Maintenance (PM) scheduling and tracking
are key components to any fleet management solution. Entarus
enables you define a PM classification, a grouping of units
that follow the same schedule of preventive maintenance
tasks. You define a task to have a maintenance interval
that is a specified amount of usage or number of days. All
units assigned to a PM classification will have a forecast
of PM tasks based on the schedule and its unique usage pattern.
Entarus records maintenance and repair history as work
orders. Aside from the details of work performed and the
parts used, the work order contains information as to the
original intent of the work order.
Employee
This component allows you to record basic information about
your employees. These employees will appear as possible
unit operators or repair personnel for the departments to
which they belong. In addition, the employee component is
where you define the Entarus users and their access.
