net Distribution Handler manages all distribution and warehouse management functions. Distribution Handler integrates with net PO+ to manage the receipt of incoming EDI 856 advanced ship notices (ASNs).
It allows the user to build a receiver by wanding the bar-coded inventory. For receipts not bar-coded, or in environments where consistent inventory labeling is a strategy, the system allows bar-code label printing for all units received. A receipts reconciliation is conducted comparing the ASN to actual receipts, thus making the receiver eligible for invoice payment.
net Distribution Handler controls the warehouse functions of locates, moves, cycle counts, physical counts, bulk unit creates, issues, re-packs, and customer returns. These functions are conducted utilizing radio frequency technology so the inventory is updated real-time.
